Speaking during a recent podcast, Middler stated that he believes a new Uncharted game is „obviously“ in development. According to him, although Naughty Dog concluded Nathan Drake’s story on a high note with Uncharted 4, that does not necessarily mean the franchise itself has reached its end.
At the moment, however, neither Sony nor Naughty Dog has officially confirmed the existence of a new Uncharted project.

Middler’s comments are only the latest in a growing list of reports pointing toward the return of the franchise.
Over the past several months, multiple insiders have claimed that Sony is still actively interested in the future of Uncharted.
