Ubisoft has released brand-new gameplay footage for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, giving players another look at the upgraded version of the popular pirate-themed entry in the series. The game is scheduled to launch on July 9 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
New gameplay clips highlight multiple features
The newly released footage showcases several core gameplay elements in 4K resolution, including combat, stealth mechanics, parkour traversal, and large-scale naval gameplay.
The sailing and ship battles that helped make Black Flag one of the franchise’s most beloved titles remain a major focus. Ubisoft is also showing off improved visuals and technical upgrades designed for current-generation hardware.
Enhanced visuals for modern platforms
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has been rebuilt with modern systems in mind. Players can expect upgraded lighting, improved effects, smoother animations, and higher image quality compared to the original release.
Ubisoft noted that the gameplay shown comes from a pre-release build, meaning some details may still change before launch.
One of the franchise’s most popular entries returns
Originally released in 2013, Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag is still widely considered one of the strongest entries in the franchise. Its open-world pirate setting, naval exploration, and freedom-focused gameplay earned strong praise from both fans and critics.
With Resynced, Ubisoft is bringing the experience back for a new generation while aiming to preserve the atmosphere and identity of the original game.
Launch arrives this summer
Players will not have to wait much longer to jump back into the Caribbean adventure. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced launches on July 9 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
More details likely coming soon
With the release date approaching, Ubisoft is expected to reveal additional gameplay footage and new information in the coming weeks.
