Sony is expanding PlayStation Plus with new benefits that go beyond free games and the familiar game catalog. Subscribers can now enjoy extra discounts on PlayStation hardware, free trial subscriptions, and other offers. Notably, these perks are available in Germany and are not limited to the higher-priced PS Plus tiers.
Through this rewards program, Sony aims to boost the value of its paid PlayStation membership. To that end, the company is teaming up with partners such as YouTube, Audible, and Sony Electronics. The offers are available to members of PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium. Even users in a free PS Plus trial can participate under certain conditions.
PS Plus members get YouTube Premium for free
One of the most notable new benefits involves YouTube Premium. Sony is offering eligible PlayStation Plus members a three-month free trial of the video service. This lets users watch videos without regular commercial breaks, download content for offline viewing, and play videos in the background. YouTube Music Premium is also part of the standard YouTube Premium subscription.

The offer is limited to new customers who have never used a Premium subscription or trial. Eligible users must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid payment method.
After the free period ends, the subscription automatically renews at the standard rate unless canceled. Members have until November 1, 2027, to claim the bonus.
Sony Offers Additional Discounts on PS5 Accessories
In addition to these digital perks, PlayStation players also save on select hardware. PS Plus members enjoy a 5 percent discount on eligible purchases in the official PlayStation Direct store.
They also save an additional €10 on select DualSense wireless controllers. Sony says the controller discount stacks with the standard 5% store discount, so anyone planning to buy a controller pays less than the usual retail price.
Sony Electronics is also participating in the new rewards program. There, eligible members receive a 10 percent discount on select gaming products and Bluetooth speakers. As of now, this promotion runs through December 31, 2026. However, the discounts do not apply unconditionally to all products. Which items are eligible and whether special offers can be combined depend on the respective promotional terms and conditions.
Audible, Calm, and movie perks are also included.
Sony isn’t limiting itself exclusively to gaming and hardware. The new program unlocks additional entertainment offerings that PlayStation Plus subscribers can enjoy outside of their console. This includes a two-month free trial subscription to Calm Premium. The service offers content for relaxation, meditation, and sleep.
Eligible members also gain access to an Audible promotion. In Germany, the corresponding Audible membership costs €0.99 per month for the first three months, then renews at the regular price unless canceled.
Sony Pictures Core is also included, giving members a movie credit applicable to any eligible title in the catalog. These additions expand PlayStation Plus benefits beyond the core subscription.

All three PS Plus tiers benefit
The program’s key feature is its broad availability. Sony does not restrict the extra bonuses to PlayStation Plus Premium; all membership tiers can participate. Even PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers—the most affordable plan—can benefit. At launch, the bonus program is region-specific.
The program currently supports PlayStation accounts from Germany, France, and the United Kingdom; players in other regions cannot claim offers at this time. New PlayStation Plus subscribers may also need to wait, as Sony says it can take 24–48 hours for bonus eligibility to activate.

Redeem them on the dedicated bonus page of the official PlayStation website. Sign in with your PlayStation Network account, and the available offers will appear. Click the redemption feature to claim each discount, trial subscription, or other benefit.
Some partners may require extra information or an additional sign-up. Sony plans to update the bonus catalog throughout the year, potentially adding more partner promotions, though it has not confirmed which companies will join.
