PS Plus September 2026: Players Are Predicting These PS5 Games

Which games will PlayStation Plus subscribers get in September 2026? Sony has yet to make its official announcement, but speculation within the community is already picking up. Several interesting PS5 games are appearing repeatedly in players‘ predictions.

August already delivered a solid selection for PlayStation Plus Essential members with Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk, and Signalis.

But what’s coming next in September?

There is currently no confirmed lineup and, importantly, no reliable leak. However, the PlayStation Plus community on Reddit has already started its monthly prediction tournament, with players trying to guess which games Sony will offer next.

PS Plus players are predicting some big PS5 games

This month’s predictions cover a wide variety of titles, although several games are appearing more frequently than others.

One of the most commonly mentioned names is Atomic Heart. Mundfish’s first-person shooter has been available for several years now, leading some players to believe it could be a realistic candidate for PlayStation Plus.

Another title appearing surprisingly often is MLB The Show 26.

Other games mentioned by the community include:

  • Hitman: World of Assassination
  • Street Fighter 6
  • Days Gone Remastered
  • Hades
  • Stellar Blade
  • Dragon’s Dogma 2
  • The Precinct
  • Atomfall
  • Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4
  • Mafia: The Old Country
  • Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
  • Resident Evil 4
  • Doom: The Dark Ages

Some predictions are considerably more ambitious.

Individual players have even suggested games such as Final Fantasy VII Rebirth or Elden Ring Nightreign.

Those expectations may be worth keeping in check.

These predictions are not PS Plus leaks

There is an important distinction to make: none of these games have been leaked or confirmed for PlayStation Plus September 2026.

The Reddit tournament is simply a community prediction game.

Participants can select up to three titles they believe will appear in the upcoming Essential lineup and receive points if one of their predictions turns out to be correct.

That naturally results in a mixture of realistic guesses and highly optimistic wish-list picks.

Still, the discussion provides an interesting look at which games PlayStation Plus subscribers would currently like to see added to the service.

When will Sony reveal the September PS Plus games?

Fortunately, we shouldn’t have to wait much longer.

Based on Sony’s usual schedule, the PlayStation Plus Essential games for September 2026 are expected to be announced on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

The new games should then become available to subscribers on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Until then, PlayStation Plus members still have time to claim August’s Essential lineup.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk, and Signalis are expected to remain available until August 31.

Whether September brings Atomic Heart, Hitman, Street Fighter 6, or perhaps a completely unexpected surprise should therefore become clear in just a few days.
