Ubisoft may be preparing a major comeback for some of its biggest franchises over the next few years. According to new rumors, both Far Cry 7 and Assassin’s Creed Hexe are currently targeting a release window in 2027.
While none of the information has been officially confirmed yet, the latest reports are already generating significant discussion within the gaming community.
Ubisoft Could Be Preparing a Major Lineup
The new claims come from well-known Ubisoft insider Rogue Tx, who recently also shared details about the next Ghost Recon game.
According to the leaker, Ubisoft is currently working on multiple large-scale projects planned for the coming years. Among them are reportedly Far Cry 7 and Assassin’s Creed Hexe.
One particularly interesting detail is that Far Cry 7 could allegedly receive an official reveal later this year.
Assassin’s Creed Hexe May Return to Classic Parkour
The insider also shared additional details regarding Assassin’s Creed Hexe. According to the report, the game’s movement and parkour systems will reportedly feel much closer to the older Assassin’s Creed titles than the recent RPG-focused entries.
For years, many fans have criticized the franchise for moving further away from its original stealth and parkour-heavy gameplay in favor of larger open-world RPG mechanics.
If the rumors are accurate, Hexe could mark a deliberate return to more classic Assassin’s Creed design elements.
Previous reports had already suggested that the game would feature a darker tone and atmosphere compared to recent installments in the series.
Female Protagonist Rumors Continue
Rogue Tx also reiterated earlier claims that Assassin’s Creed Hexe will feature a female protagonist.
That rumor has been circulating for quite some time and is now considered increasingly likely by many fans.
So far, however, Ubisoft has not officially commented on any of the recent reports.
Ubisoft May Host Another Major Showcase
If the current rumors turn out to be accurate, Ubisoft could potentially host another large showcase event in the coming months.
The company is reportedly working on several major franchises simultaneously, including:
- Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced
- Far Cry 7
- Assassin’s Creed Hexe
- the next Ghost Recon
After years of delays, layoffs, cancellations, and underperforming releases, Ubisoft appears to be focusing heavily on rebuilding momentum around its biggest brands.
Official Confirmation Is Still Missing
As with all current Ubisoft rumors, fans should still approach the information cautiously.
Neither Far Cry 7 nor Assassin’s Creed Hexe release plans have been officially confirmed at this time.
Still, the latest reports once again suggest that Ubisoft is preparing a long-term strategy centered around some of its most recognizable franchises.
