After the massive success of the first game, Warner Bros. appears to be moving forward with Hogwarts Legacy 2.
According to recent rumors, the sequel could be officially revealed as early as this summer.
Warner Bros. Is Reportedly Already Working on the Sequel
There have been signs for months that Avalanche Software is developing a follow-up to Hogwarts Legacy.
While Warner Bros. has not officially announced Hogwarts Legacy 2 yet, many reports suggest that the project is already in active development.
That would make sense, considering the original game became one of the company’s biggest successes in recent years.
Reveal Could Happen in 2026
According to current rumors, Warner Bros. may unveil Hogwarts Legacy 2 sometime in the coming months.
Several insiders believe the game could be shown during the summer, while the full release is currently expected in 2027.
Possible Connection to the New Harry Potter Series
There is also speculation that Warner Bros. wants to align Hogwarts Legacy 2 with the upcoming Harry Potter TV series from HBO.
Doing so would allow the company to promote both projects at the same time and keep interest in the Harry Potter franchise high.
Fans Want More Freedom and New Features
At the moment, it is still unclear what new features Hogwarts Legacy 2 could include.
Many players are hoping for deeper RPG systems, more meaningful choices, new locations beyond Hogwarts, and possibly even co-op or multiplayer features.
That last point in particular has been the subject of ongoing rumors for quite some time.
New Community Manager Sparks More Speculation
Recent speculation also increased after Warner Bros. reportedly hired a new Community Manager.
These positions are often filled shortly before larger marketing campaigns begin, leading many fans to believe that an official reveal may be getting closer.
