EA has yet to officially reveal what is coming in Battlefield 6 Season 3, but a new datamine may have already uncovered some of the content planned for the future.
Several new maps, weapons, gadgets, and game modes have reportedly been found in the game files. While nothing has been confirmed by DICE yet, many fans believe these additions could be part of the next seasonal update.
New Maps Found In The Files
One of the most interesting parts of the leak is the list of potential new maps.
According to well-known dataminer temporyal, the following maps are currently hidden in the game files:
- Plaza
- Isolated
- Golmud Railway
Golmud Railway has already been officially announced by EA and will be familiar to longtime Battlefield fans from Battlefield 4.
Plaza is reportedly inspired by Battlefield 3’s Grand Bazaar, suggesting DICE could once again bring back a fan-favorite map with a new look.
At the moment, there is no additional information available about Isolated.
New Weapons Could Be Coming Soon
The datamine also points to several new weapons being added in the future.
The leaked weapons include:
- L115A3 sniper rifle
- RPK-74M light machine gun
- M16A3 assault rifle
- PP-19 Vityaz submachine gun
The return of the M16A3 will likely excite many longtime players, as it was one of the most popular weapons in previous Battlefield games.
Gadgets And Battle Royale Additions
Several new gadgets were also discovered in the files.
These include a Mobile Jammer for the Recon class, an Artillery Strike, a Smoke Screen pickup, and a JAGM Strike for the Redsec battle royale mode.
These additions could help make matches more dynamic and offer players more tactical options.
New Game Modes May Be In Development
Alongside the maps and weapons, the datamine also uncovered several possible new game modes.
The leaked modes are:
- Obliteration
- Infiltration
- Alliances Gauntlet
Obliteration is a mode many Battlefield players will already recognize. Teams compete over a bomb and attempt to destroy enemy M-COM stations.
Infiltration appears to be a more objective-focused mode involving multiple phases and high-value targets.
Nothing Is Official Yet
As with all datamining reports, players should treat the information with caution.
Some of the content may still be in testing, could be changed before release, or may never appear in the final game at all.
Still, the amount of content found in the files suggests that DICE is already preparing a major batch of additions for Battlefield 6 in the near future.
